The unanimous vote for Best Worst Film of all time (the movie that is so terrible that it's great) goes to the sci-fi channel original movie, Aztec Rex. What a gem.
And the Razzie unanimously, and definitely, goes to 2001: A Space Odyssey, which is undoubtedly the worst film in the history of film making. Seriously.

ReplyDeleteInitial reaction: Stephen's list is much better. Some thoughts: V for Vendetta? #3 and #1? Really? Good movie, yes, top 3, no. Empire and Inception should have been higher. Flip-flopping #s (replace Back to the Future 1 with BTTF2, X-Men 2 with X1, and Harry Potter 7pt1 with HP6, due to your rating scale (overall/influence/entertainment)). Sweeney Todd and Aviator are overrated. Props to Vanessa for The Departed and Hook. Props to Stephen for Apollo 13, Dark Knight, Saving Private Ryan, and the Bonds. Overall appreciation for inclusion of Lord of the Rings, Godfather, Ghostbusters, and Back to the Future in general. My Best Worst Movie ever: Snakes on a Plane (though SyFy movies are always classic). And I kind of like 2001 buttheads. My Razzie might have to go to Star Wars Episode 2 (when compared to its counterpart in the originals (Empire) it has to be one of the worst movies ever made, though I will still gladly watch it seeing as it is still Star Wars).
